Krause+ develops and operates real estate in downtown Des Moines, IA, managing 89 residential units and 805,841 square feet of rentable commercial space. The company takes a multi-faceted approach to the planning, design, and management of real estate; leveraging the local community’s cultural energy, assets, inspiration, and potential to create spaces that are sustainable, engaging, and endure the test of time.

In 2022, we worked closely with our residents in one of our buildings to relocate them as we prepare to redevelop the property. We completed the construction of the Crescent Building redevelopment where our 1st tenant, Big Grove Brewery opened its doors to the public.

Krause+ is committed to partnering with tenants to reduce the environmental impact at our commercial and residential real estate properties. Energy and water intensity increased due an increase in occupancy and return to workplace trends pre-pandemic.
